Federal agents descended on a Florida condo belonging to the mother of transgender school shooter Robin Westman after she refused to cooperate with authorities investigating the deadly attack.
Plainclothes FBI agents could be seen in video footage arriving at Mary Grace Westman's Naples, Florida condominium and banging on the door as the windows and shades were shuttered.
When they received no answer at the front door, the agents scurried to the backdoor - but had no success there either, WINK News reports.
The feds were apparently not the only ones looking to speak with Westman on Wednesday, in the hours after the mass shooting. Deputy vehicles from the local Collier County Sheriff's Office were seen circling the Berkshire Lakes condominium complex.
The federal response to her home came as it was revealed police received disturbing calls from the family's Minneapolis home years earlier.
It is now believed Mary Grace fled the home on Wednesday, as police in Minneapolis, have not been able to speak to her concerning her 23-year-old child's horrific shooting rampage at the Annunciation Catholic Church.
Eight-year-old Fletcher Merkel and 10-year-old Harper Moyski were killed in the shooting and 18 others were injured when Westman opened fire during morning Mass.

If she raised him looney-troony, she may well be liable.
America is far too tolerant of crazies and killers of all sorts.
Does not matter how she raised him. Lots of parents have parenting styles we don’t agree with but their kids don’t grow up and go out and shoot up a school when they become adults.
What this guy did he did as an adult, he and he only is to blame.
Also where was his dad?
You have to wonder if she bought the guns for him. If not someone did.

There have been reports that she was not happy with her son’s efforts at “transition”. The thinking seems to be that he attacked the Catholic school where she used to work as a way of striking back at her, and her faith, for her failure to support his deviant behavior.
I think it’s odd that they are hounding her.
I somehow felt that the attack on the church/school was him really attacking his parents but I could not figure out why then they said his mom used to work there.
I have a feeling he was never trans just upset over his parents divorce.

When Dylann Roof (who said he was a conservative) killed people in a black church in 1994, ‘the press’ even went so far as to interview his friends. The same should happen here - but it won’t because the press wants to give this killer a pass.

The mother of the shooter who opened fire Wednesday on a Minneapolis Catholic school during morning Mass has hired a criminal defense attorney, as police say they've been unable to reach her. Minneapolis Police Chief Brian O’Hara stated that Robin Westman's family has been cooperating with investigators; however, they have not yet located her mother, Mary Grace Westman. Records show that her residence is in Florida. He said investigators have done dozens of interviews with the shooter’s family, friends and associates, and have talked to the shooter's father. "I know we have not been successful in talking to the shooter’s mother yet at this time," O’Hara said at a news conference Thursday. Mary Grace Westman's attorney, Ryan Garry, told NBC News on Thursday that he had no comment at this time. The FBI and police department did not immediately respond to a request for comment on Friday.

Why is she refusing to cooperate with the authorities? Most parents would bend over backwards to cooperate... if their son had murdered anyone... especially considering that he targeted the same school where she worked.
Why wouldn’t LEOs want to speak to ANY murderer’s parents to get basic info? They need to get as much information as possible.

Re the actual shooting, that’s true.
But if she knew or suspected he would do something dangerous, and didn’t warn anyone, then she could be a conspirator or similar.
He legally bought the guns himself
It was reported that she was supportive in some of his trans crap, e.g., signing off on his name change when he was a minor
When are parents going to stop accepting the fact that their kids are terrorists, and stop faciltating the nonsense? Kids never are told NO! any more.
