California Gov. Gavin Newsom (D) joined other Democrats in mocking the idea of prayer in the wake of the mass shooting at a Catholic school in Minneapolis this week, noting that the children were praying at the time.
In a post on X, responding to White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt’s claim that “prayer works,”, Newsom said: “There children were literally praying as they got shot at,” implying that prayer does not work.

Atheists are always desperate the prove to themselves that there’s no God. They do this by trying to convince others that if there was a God, bad things wouldn’t happen. Although they claim to not believe in God and have no religion, they just have a religion of a different kind based on mockery and blasphemy.

Christians also pray at their time of death when they know it is coming, I think we can assume that all martyrs were praying as they endured their horrible deaths.

Prayer when staring death in the face, not that unusual. Except in the Church of Gavin't DNC. I hope a reporter asks him why he's demeaning the memory of millions of Jews who met their deaths by gunfire or gas last century. I've no doubt prayer was on many lips. As it was on the lips of non Jewish victims. Interesting, I've not heard him condemn terrorists who meet their death howling Allah Akbar. I'll be asking this question of my liberal Christian and Jewish friends. And yes, many liberals are religious.

Not exactly. Gov. Hand Jive recently decided to portray himself as a "tough on crime" demonicRAT by increasing police presence in some Commiefornia cities . That is not popular with his debased base so this is a sign to them that deep down inside he's still one of them. He needs to transition from demonicRAT to Republican and back again until he's in The White House. At which time he can shed that nasty Republican cloaking and be his true demonic self.
