Troopers with the Nebraska State Patrol have arrested a Tennessee woman after a brief pursuit in Dawson County.
Just after one o’clock Sunday afternoon, a Ford Edge was called in for speeding and passing other vehicles on the shoulder of Interstate 80. The vehicle was reportedly traveling eastbound near Gothenburg.
A trooper located the vehicle and clocked it traveling over 100 miles per hour on I-80. The trooper attempted a traffic stop, but the driver continued eastbound, reaching over 120 miles per hour. The trooper initiated a pursuit.
Three miles into the chase, the driver of the Edge pulled over. The trooper performed a felony traffic stop. The driver exited the vehicle and began approaching the trooper while yelling. The driver refused to follow the trooper’s commands requiring the deployment of a taser. The trooper was then able to take the driver into custody.
The suspect, 38 year old Jessica Summers, of Jonesborough, Tennessee, was medically cleared at the Lexington hospital and has been lodged in Dawson County Jail for willful reckless driving, obstructing a peace office, and failure to obey a lawful order. The Dawson County Sheriff’s Office assisted in the arrest.

I wonder if there are criminal offense statistics anywhere that break out crime rates for various offenses by “gender identification” (as in crimes committed by: males identifying as males; females as females; males as females; females as males; and, fubars). Seems as if the last 4-5 school shooters were all trannies — but is that perception due to reporting bias?

Dependent on the engine it will do 130 mph. The 130 mph speed is a limited speed and could go slightly faster without the electronic controls. 85 miles per hour is enough for me per Saint Christopher, the Saint for Travelers. He says to me, "I am out of here." These new small engines with a turbo charger are incredible. Those engineers in Detroit are amazing with what they can do with engines today.
