And they wonder why people hate cops.
I read the headline to my wife. She asked, “Florida?” and she was right.
Where was the word “allegedly”?
Personally I'm getting a little tired of the "gotcha" stories that get amplified by "the news". Why is it, I wonder, that they never bullhorn the tens of thousands of good stories that officers carry out every single hour in this country?
When “good cops” don’t out the bad cops and the system covers for the bad cops why should we trust them.
Plus personal experience of all the egotistical power hungry “first responders”
Isn't that how things go from bad to really terrible?
Based on my experience and observation, 85% of cops range from competent to excellent. Even heroic. That number is too low, not acceptable.
Imagine a large dental practice of 100 dentists.
85 of the dentists range from competent to excellent. But 15 of the dentists deliberately hurt their patients, and make problems worse. Would you respect this practice? Would you go there?
Given my experience with dental work I think you’re being far too generous about the number of good ones, haha.
Its why I wont help cops if/when things go south. They will either be these types of cops, or else they were ok being around and working with these types of cops.
Never mind the hundreds of thousands of officers that have folks like this in their departments and don’t do anything to stop them?
Because those ‘good’ officers don’t do anything to curb the bad officers?
One or two bad cops erase the ten good deeds of good cops.
I guess i missed the part of this story where the good cops fired these two thugs. Or where the good cops ejected them from the union. Or where the good cops charged the scum with assault.
Perhaps you are exposed to these stories because no amount of good policing makes up for protecting the vicious psychopaths in their “brotherhood.”
“Nevermind the hundreds of thousands of police officers and sheriffs who did their job properly today. Upheld the law. Helped to protect and to serve the public.”
And covered up for Peers they absolutely know are bad Apples. Is the driver of the getaway car not guilty of Bank Robbery because “Technically” he did not physically go in the bank to rob it?
Those who say nothing or did nothing about it are just as guilty as those who do. Personally I’m getting a little tired of the deflection from this fact..

Absolutely, see #17.
Completely fair point.
Strawman fallacy. Nowhere in my post did I say shove anything under the rug or to not go after bad officers. Like Trump regarding the Smithsonian on Slavery, I simply want to see the good stories as well. I believe we will find they far outnumber the bad.
