I regard TV ads as a good way of following the general trends of the left. The vast over-representation of blacks in TV ads continues, but in recent months I've noticed a new trend: chirpy young white women are often chosen as the spokesperson. We've had Flo and the Toyotathon lady for quite some time, but now there are many others. The most annoying to me is the chirpy woman who does the Domino's Pizza ads. They've finally moved past it, but the "emergency pizza" ads drove me up the wall. More and more, the young woman is depicted smugly accomplishing everything with ease with a swipe of her smart phone.

Another trend is that 95% of the people in TV ads live in upscale dwellings - either very nice houses or fancy condos. Christianity does not exist in TV ads, but it is common to see people meditating, doing yoga, or practicing some form of Eastern martial arts or esercise.
