Back to Videos Shellenberger: The FBI Is Serious About Prosecuting The Russia Hoax, This Is What It Looks Like Posted By Ian Schwartz On Date August 23, 2025 Independent journalist and Public News founder Michael Shellenberger reacted Friday on "Jesse Watters Prime" to the FBI raid on former National Security Adviser John Boltonโs home and office.
Trump Justice insider, Mike Davis says "Democrats, RINOs and reporters who think this raid on John Bolton is about his book will be very embarrassed when the search warrant becomes public."
PRIMETIME is hearing Bolton was making a lot of money from overseas and may have been trafficking in Intelligence. That wouldn't be putting America first.
Constitutional scholar Jonathan Turley, who we just heard from, says Bolton could be looking at up to 20 years in prison. So Bolton should take his own advice and take a big, beautiful, deep breath.

BOLTON: I think it's important that everybody take a deep breath here. This is a very serious matter, and it would be better if we could let the legal process play out.

WATTERS: Michael Shellenberger, founder of Public News, joins us now.
How you doing, Mike?
MICHAEL SHELLENBERGER, FOUNDER, "PUBLIC NEWS": Good to be with you, Jesse.
WATTERS: So what are you hearing about this raid?

Yes, rest assured EPU, I have my eye on you.
Well they do seem to give those security clearances out like candy at Halloween, then allow people who don’t need them to keep them for life. Seems kinda’ counter-security to me.
Whenever I had clearances, once the need was gone the yanked them real fast and to get renewed had to go through the process again. Guess I ain’t as special as I thought eh? LOL!
Bkmk
Uh-huh. And who, exactly, are you?
What a malevolent weirdo.
Thanks, I was kinda’ wondering about that. Wondering why some of the bigshots get to keep them indefinitely.
They is ultra importanter than I was. They day I retired, poof. Clearances voided. If I had to go back I needed an escort. The assclowns in d.c. sport their clearances like a janitor with the most keys.
Shellenberger does decent job
But Benz and Whitney Webb a lib are best
And some other deep divers
Itโs a tar pit
Seems to me that's the way it should be handled for almost everyone. I know they want to keep some of the people in the information loop and up to date, but that also seems kind of risky.
Simply having a clearance does NOT give a person access to anything if that security level. There must also be a “need to know.”
Guesswork and unnamed sources for clicks.
I’m me. By the way, the Sauropod went out of existence given its limited intelligence.
An arrogant you. You are cordially invited to take a long walk off a short pier. Ta ta.
Troll
Him, not you
The Bell Curve never lies.
It certainly doesn’t. Neither does Dunning-Kreuger.
How’s Mount Stupid?
You should know. You certainly should know as you drop the curve a few points every time you post.
