Well they do seem to give those security clearances out like candy at Halloween, then allow people who don’t need them to keep them for life. Seems kinda’ counter-security to me.

Whenever I had clearances, once the need was gone the yanked them real fast and to get renewed had to go through the process again. Guess I ain’t as special as I thought eh? LOL!

Simply having a clearance does NOT give a person access to anything if that security level. There must also be a “need to know.”
