What “botched” doink?
Putin and his gang need to meet up with the Mujahideen.
What Belgorod doink?
Yawn. This happened during the Cold War and I don’t recall any mushroom clouds.
“KC-135 tanker”

Not if eyes on are needed now and not when a bird can be maneuvered into place..
Like a Russian bear?
Tell the ruskie Pilots that they're getting some "Special Super Fuel" and hook them up with a tank full of AVGAS in place of JP*.* to make the jet engines go Super Fast !!!😃🤪
Odd how the same guy [ in the middle ] was both Khrushchev’s and Putin’s translator, even after 66 yeas had past but looks no older.
Hubby was stationed at Elmendorf 1971-1975. I can’t even remember how many times he had to leave in the middle of the night because of these kinds of situations.
It happened regularly and in many locations. My dad was a Navy reconnaissance pilot during the Cold War. They used to spot Soviet planes and subs and have them escorted (or chased) off.
They were on the receiving end of similar activity sometimes when the Soviets detected them. :)
Nary a mushroom cloud occurred as a result.
Satellites can’t elicit a response
