Culture is a slow boiling frog. Many Hollywood products that offended conservative parents in the 1980s (e.g., heavy metal, slasher films) are fondly remembered by conservative parents today.

A generation from now, conservative parents will complain that Hollywood is no longer making good, old-fashioned movies like last year's Snow White.
