Most Sharks have little to no interest in getting their pictures taken, not even by an Australian. Lemon Sharks in particular, tend to display anxiety and reluctance to signing any sort of release forms for the photographer, no matter how basicly the forms are written. ///

It’s all fun and games and “look at me” until someone gets bitten messing with a shark for a selfie—or anything else wild with big, sharp teeth.
A guy in the back lifted the shark’s tail which let the shark turn and bite the guy holding the shark’s head.
Kinda stupid.

I hope the shark was ok. That guy screamed so loud it probably hurt the sharks ears.
Everything looked fine until that one bloke grabbed the tail.

I’m sure it felt better when it stopped hurting.
I was fishing with my son this summer and he hooked about a 5 foot sand shark.
It probably weighed about 70-90 pounds I guess.
It was the biggest shark we ever caught (since we dont target them, its just a by product of where we fish).
Anyway, I got it up to the boat, and I know that if you grab the tail, a lot of them can reach back and actually reach their tail with their mouth.....
Anyway, I looped his tail with a rope just to get it next to the boat(I didn’t want to gaff it) so My sone could get a picture standing near it while it was still in the water next to him before we let it go.
Im here to tell you...I couldn’t believe the POWER that this friggin 90 pound fish had in its body.
All muscle obviously,,,,but it still shocked me. I couldn’t imagen getting a 500 to 1000 pounder on the line.
I’d need a 12 guage for that.
