I’ll never understand why an entire political party loves criminals and crime all the while hating law-abiding citizens who want a peaceful life.

Democrats supported defund the police, the rise of antifa, BLM, radical prosecutors who do not prosecute crime, short sentences, early release, revolving doors, radical lawyers, the utterly stupid idea of using social workers instead of police, and cooking the books to hide the result.

Is ANYBODY surprised that that toxic cocktail of anti-social policy led to a huge growth of crime?

If slavery was still around and Trump tried to end it, demonicRATS would oppose him.

Democrats HAVE TO be weak on crime because criminals are one of their key base constituencies.

Notice the language difference in NPR since their funding was cut.
Before the headline would have read...”Trump replicates Kristallnacht in DC”

When “protected classes” are exempt from prosecution for crimes, you get more crimes from these protected classes.

“... signaling other cities maybe next” ?

Trump has explicit authority for DC, as it is governed by Federal laws. He cannot do what he is doing in DC un other cities.

Either the author didn’t know that, or she just wanted to flame the readers

Dim Dem crime policy: Criminals commit crime, and get rewarded. Normals get assaulted and suck it up.

Back when Pelousy was Speaker Of The House, she set up Federal Capitol Police offices in Florida and Kalifornia.

Perhaps President Trump could create an Executive Order to establish a Federal Capitol Police office in every sanctuary city and State. The Executive Order could have the title The Pelousy Refund, Reinvigorate The Police Order.

Democrat-run cities wanting to defund law enforcement, which is usually the first department to be cut, let crime run rampant then claim crime is down. Of course crime and violent crimes appears to be down if you won’t let your police officers arrest people, or you dismiss charges after criminals are arrested, or you lower charges from a felony to a misdemeanor, which goes on regularly.
