I’ll never understand why an entire political party loves criminals and crime all the while hating law-abiding citizens who want a peaceful life.

Democrats supported defund the police, the rise of antifa, BLM, radical prosecutors who do not prosecute crime, short sentences, early release, revolving doors, radical lawyers, the utterly stupid idea of using social workers instead of police, and cooking the books to hide the result.

Is ANYBODY surprised that that toxic cocktail of anti-social policy led to a huge growth of crime?

You might say it was just a terribly stupid political miscalculation (for some reason) but then you remember that the democrats did this in the 70s (then it got cleaned up), then they did it again in the late 80s/early 90s (then it got cleaned up) and here they are again. They WANT this for the USA, clearly. Why? Not sure. Overton window stuff I guess.

In the Democrat mind, criminals are victims of racism or other sins of the privileged class. They have no idea of how bad these criminals are.
