I never understood the uproar in Minnesocold. The two guys are apparently guys, not tranny, and most or many colleges have male cheer leaders.
Of course, it’s Minnesota, so maybe they are trans ? In which locker room do they dress ? Inquiring minds want to know.

Male cheerleaders are not hard to find when they hear the sport that they will be cheering for has tight ends.
The Republican wing of the uniparty had two noted senators who were on the same cheerleading squad which were Trent Lott and Thad Cochran.
Not sure if they were attracted by the tight ends.
But I know that Trent Lott worked closely with “toe-tapping” Senator Larry Craig.
“In October 2006, Lott and Craig said they were putting the quartet back together after a six-year hiatus. They said they had found two solid prospects in Senators Bob Bennett and John Thune.”

Male cheerleaders are not a new idea --- someone to do the heavy lifting and the catching.

In high school and college ball they've got male cheerleaders but they're the ones that toss 120 lb gals up in the air and catch them with a hand with one gal foot over their head, give her a flip and catch them safely and then let the gal bounce around. That's Americana. Those are men.
