Both the White House and local activists have highlighted the Subway sub slinger amid Trumps’ police takeover.
WASHINGTON ― As a dozen U.S. Marshals patrolled the busy U Street corridor on Friday night, they faced angry D.C. residents who felt they had no need to be there.
When a HuffPost reporter asked one of the agents if he worried for his safety – that is, if he feared someone might launch a Subway sandwich at him ― he flashed a smile.
“Only if it’s a footlong,” the officer said.
Everyone’s talking about the “assault with a deli weapon,” the “hurl of sandwich” — the felony with a footlong that occurred on Aug. 10 after federal law enforcement officers descended on the city.
As if by mutual agreement between the White House and its haters, the sandwich attack has become a symbol of President Donald Trump’s militarized takeover of D.C.’s police.
U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi, the nation’s highest law enforcement official, personally denounced Sean Dunn, the 37-year-old man in a pink polo shirt who allegedly threw a Subway sandwich at a Customs and Border Patrol officer. The White House even made a hype video apparently showing his second arrest by heavily armed federal agents.

What HuffPo (deliberately, IMO) fails to mention is that this bozo worked for the Department of Justice. The Left does not want you to know how much the Deep State has infiltrated the government. Yes, there are the partisan, self-serving hacks like Comey, Garland, Brennan, and the like in charge at the top. But they can be—and have been— easily removed and replaced when the White House changes hands. It’s the lower-tier true believers who erode the integrity of our government from the inside every single day to better suit their own personal vendettas against Trump and the Republicans and imagine themselves heroes to the liberal cause.
This a-hole literally worked a job for which he took an oath to support and defend the Constitution, yet he ran out and screamed at law enforcement —the ones who actually support and defend by upholding our laws. He should be prosecuted for assault, but also for violating that oath.
Sadly, there are untold numbers in our law enforcement, intelligence, and regulatory agencies who are just like him - faithless narcissists who essentially lied to get a secure government job. Let’s hope more of them out themselves, too.

Watching how the left spins the Trump takeover of the DC Police and the push to reduce violent crime in DC. The left wants to ignore the violent crime and say that the police takeover is just about a sandwich.
Simply put the sandwich thrower was interrupting police business in stopping the mayhem that plagues DC

Crime is NO laughing matter and even Maureen Dowd has made the case of how serious crime is while trying to take some shots at Trump at the same time.

Maybe someone would want to sit down with a calculator and determine what percentage of victims of serious crimes in DC are "of color". My bet is that it's a very substantial percentage of the total number of victims...almost certainly a majority.
He’s not a symbol of the crime emergency. He’s a symbol of how the Deep State is real. He’s a DoJ employee who exposed how a lot of them feel about Trump and his policies. They all need to be purged.

They secure a conviction for the charged crime, which is a crime of moral turpitude, and he gets the bonus payout of a disbarment.

…my favorite movie and yes, that’s a prime example. Throwing or revealing anything that can be misconstrued as a possible injuring weapon needs to be dealt with as if it is a dangerous weapon.
