What’s so incredible about the letter?
When autos were pieces of art.
I thought it might have been a letter from Dwight to Kay confirming all, but then rejecting her in favor of the life he had built with Mamie.
That's about $16,000, which is really nothing when it comes to classic cars. I wonder how much he paid for it?
I can't imagine what it would sell for now at a Barrett-Jackson auction. But with its history, it's priceless.
(What’s so incredible about the letter?)
Written in invisible ink, it says:
“I have information that will lead to the arrest and
successful prosecution of Hillary Rodham Clinton.”
And Hillary wasn’t born until 1947, so... pretty incredible...
And Hillary didn’t marry Bill until 1975, so...
The height of incredibilicity!
Not sure if “incredible” is the right word. But he’s an excerpt about the letter:
“the letter had been written by a businessman called William Zimdin. It was a request that he and the vehicle be allowed to enter Switzerland but the borders had been closed. Zimdin was a brave man who had been based in Monte Carlo. He branded a ‘dangerous fool’ and was on Hitler’s ‘most wanted’ list as he’d refused to help with the war effort to produce more weapons.”
It was written in cursive.
😃😄🤣🤣🤣
Ike a legend? I’m not sure about that.
I was at a church luncheon about 15 yrs ago and the guest speaker was Eisenhower’s secretary!!!! She is the one who typed the declaration of war - her life story was jaw-dropping.
😂
Can you imagine what would have been in Churchills Rolls? Cigar bands and whiskey bottles.
“ Written in invisible ink, it says:
“I have information that will lead to the arrest and
successful prosecution of Hillary Rodham Clinton.””
That letter and the person who wrote was being protected at a Russian nuclear reactor.
Then something happened.
LOL! 😆 KIDS TODAYwouldnt be able to read it then
It’s as historical as George Washington’s axe. The head has been replaced and so has the handle, but George Washington owned it originally.
That reminded me of “The Command”
Kursk submarine
