What do you feed your pets?
Exactly.
Or if she was ok with it.
True.
Pronto.
A bunch of hysterical posts before someone pointed out that Japan does have a Constitution and if they want to change it that is their right.
I couldn’t agree more.
The animals would have died from high cholesterol from all of that fat.
That would certainly clog the poor lion’s arteries.
This is how you treat your kid’s pony? 😨
There was a small roadside zoo close by the farm I used to work at. Sometimes you could hear the lions roaring in the morning. When a freshly dead cow had to be disposed of, we would winch it onto the truck and drive down to the zoo. Drive into the enclosure. They would open the door to the pen and the lions would come out and jump up and drag the carcass off. Those things are reeeaaallly strong.
Freegards
What’s next?
“Help - I’ve fallen and can’t get up!”
“Stay calm, ma’am. Zoo-keepers have been called and they’re on their way.”
Exactly. I’ve had horses my whole life. When they get to old, the only human solution is euthanize them. People used to just call the “knackers” to come collect the carcass, because burying something as large as a horse is an environmental problem. You have to be aware about things like the water table, and underground water movement. My vet operates a large cat rescue, for animals that have been confiscated by authorities. Lots of people donate large livestock to help him with feeding the lions, tigers, leopards, pumas...... feed them to the cats or feed them to the worms, do you think it matters to the horse?
To get the taste of Somali out of their mouth.
Brutal.
Just curious here, but how do you think the meat sections in your super market gets stocked?
“It was the pride of Krakow.”
What do you feed your pets?
BINGO!!!
As awful as it sounds, it can be much worse. Most of the time, hungry lions will kill quickly, but if they’re not all that hungry, they will play with their food. One safari guide talked about lions taking down a gnu or a Cape buffalo, but they just gnawed on it for hours as it cried in agony. It was the worst thing he’d ever witnessed, and he was used to all sorts of predator feeding habits, even how Wild Dogs grab and eat their prey on the run, tearing their catch apart alive.
Most horses are a utility. So are most cattle, pigs, sheep, etc.
We eat meat. You expect lions to eat their veggies?
