Former President Obama joined a Zoom call with Texas state House Democrats on Thursday, calling the Republican redistricting effort in the state a “systematic assault on democracy.”

“What we all recognize is we can’t let a systematic assault on democracy just happen and stand by,” Obama said.

If the redistricting proposal in Texas is a “systematic assault on Democracy”, then what were the past successful Democrat ran redistricting measures enacted in places like Illinois, Louisiana, California, New York and other places?

In reality all that Obama showed was how much he and other Dim leaders are willing to be blatant hypocrites to put across false narratives about current events, and portray false narratives about themselves.

That’s a GREAT idea! We always think about splitting liberal states like CA, OR, and WA into two, but not merging the ultra liberal states into one. That makes a lot of sense.

Of course, that has as much chance of happening as does splitting the big liberal states in two.
