Director Spike Lee's multi-part documentary series for ESPN Films about former NFL quarterback Colin Kaepernick, who sparked a national debate when he protested racial injustice nearly a decade ago, will not be released, the filmmaker and ESPN said. "ESPN, Colin Kaepernick and Spike Lee have collectively decided to no longer proceed with this project as a result of certain creative differences," ESPN said in a statement to Reuters on Saturday.

I’m guessing Spike Lee wasn’t quite the red-faced, raging, racist nut job they, in their fit of racism, presumed he must be.
I should clarify: Spike Lee has been very opinionated, very liberal, and sees things through racial lenses, and I know of no issue where he has adopted a more conservative viewpoint. But, at least in his early days he was intelligent, and he was an artist, not a propagandist.
