Chiefs And NFL Suspected Of ‘Conspiracy’ After Rashee Rice News
Heavy ^ | Aug 15, 2025 | Daniel Arwas

The Kansas City Chiefs got some comparatively excellent news on Thursday when they found out that receiver, Rashee Rice, would be available for the first month of the season after his disciplinary hearing was postponed until September 30.

With Rashee Rice’s hearing now on track for Sept. 30, this would make him eligible to play the first four weeks of the season with games against the Chargers in Brazil, the Eagles, at the Giants and the Ravens. https://t.co/N4mZSOrU5W

However, this lead to some people – in this case media analyst/broad speculator, Mike Florio – believing that there could be more to the story than initially reported.

In a caption on a post on X linking his article on the matter, Florio compares the situations of Rice and Jordan Addison, who received a three game suspension earlier this month.

“Jordan Addison and Rashee Rice pleaded guilty THE SAME DAY.” Florio wrote in the caption, “Addison will miss the first three games of the season. Rice will be available for four (and likely five) high-profile games. Source: “Maybe I’m a conspiracy theorist, but this is odd.”

Mike Florio And Source Believes Something May Be Up With Rice’s Suspension Florio and co.’s core assertion is that because the Chiefs are playing in either prime-time or time-slots with limited games (4.25PM ET on Sunday) for the first four months of the season, the NFL deliberately postponed the suspension.

Considering Rice’s suspension delay in comparison to Addison, it certainly seems like there is something to his theory.

Indeed, Dan Graziano reports that the reasons given for the late sentencing of Rice only serve to bolster evidence that there is some dodgy work at play from the powers at be, claiming that the September 30 date was chosen solely because as it accommodated the schedule of Sue L. Robinson, who is presiding over the matter.

Rashee Rice context: League/player/union discussed discipline but couldn’t reach agreement, so case will be heard by Sue L. Robinson, who oversaw Deshaun Watson disciplinary hearing in 2022. My understanding is that the date is 9/30 because that’s when it fits into her schedule.

Chiefs Risk Increasing ‘Rigged’ Allegations After Questionable Sentencing It could be nothing – and it may well turn out that there were legitimately just scheduling conflicts and the NFL bureaucracy once again got into it’s own way.

But “fits into her schedule” is arguably the weakest conceivable excuse for not making a critical decision on a suspension that could have an impact on crucial games early on – and subsequently later on in the season.

Indeed, with Kansas City already facing multiple – albeit baseless – fan allegations of being rigged by the league to win the AFC, the last thing the franchise needs is more attention on how they may have circumvented the NFL’s rules – or how the league may have done so on their behalf.

Nothing is conclusive at this point, but it is definitely as suspicious double standard for two teams that have different meanings and values to the NFL.

Thank you very much and God bless you.

The NFL has had different punishments for different teams for a while now.

An example would be Ray Rice, of the Ravens got suspended two games for punching his fiancé, while Ezekiel Elliot of the Cowboys got a six game suspension, even though the NFL's own female investigator recommended he not be punished.

Rice’s wife was slapping him around before his takedown. The media edited that part out and forced a year suspension and nobody ever picked him up.

Give me a break. He is a professional athlete, and he punched her in the face.

Are you one of those people who think men should play in women's sports?

She was wailing on him. Slapping him repeatedly in the head and face. She should have been charged with assault and lost her job. You must be one of the vagina worshippers who think women can do no wrong.

No, I never said women can do no wrong. Women should be charged if they commit a crime. Just a professional athlete needs to be wise about what he does. He could push her away or leave. Punching her in the face was not a good idea. Also, did someone force him to associate with this woman at gunpoint?

Remember when a "fan" threw a drink on a basketball player, and a huge fight between players and attendees erupted. That guy deserved to be punished for what he did, but they can have professional athletes attacking attendees - and those were men.

Hmmmm, just a couple days ago, I was accused of the opposite. Unlike a lot of freepers and conservatives I refuse to support the ultrawoke misandrist Justin Baldoni/

You must be one of those transgender worshippers who think men and women are exactly the same.
