Roland Mehrez Beainy, owner of the recently opened Trump Burger restaurant in Houston, is currently facing deportation after failing to leave the U.S. on time and being arrested by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

ICE confirmed that Beainy, 28, originally from Lebanon, entered the United States in 2019 on a non-immigrant visitor visa but failed to depart as required by February 12, 2024.

He was arrested on May 16, 2025, and placed into immigration proceedings. An immigration judge granted him bond on June 13 while his case continues.

Trump-inspired burger joint just opened in Houston — Here’s what you can expect

In a statement, an ICE spokesperson said that “Despite false claims to the contrary, Roland Mehrez Beainy does not have any immigration benefits that prevented his arrest or removal from the United States. Beainy is a 28-year-old illegal alien from Lebanon who entered the United States in 2019 as a non-immigrant visitor, but he failed to depart by Feb. 12, 2024, as required under the terms of his admission. ICE officers arrested him on May 16, 2025, and he was placed into immigration proceedings. On June 13, an immigration judge granted his request for bond while he undergoes his proceedings.

Under the current administration, ICE is committed to restore integrity to our nation’s immigration system by holding all individuals accountable who illegally enter the country or overstay the terms of their admission. This is true regardless of what restaurant you own or political beliefs you might have.”

Houston-area burger joint inspired by President Donald Trump Trump Burger, known for its politically themed branding, celebrated its Houston grand opening on April 19 at 3410 Chimney Rock Road. It is the fourth location in the Houston area, joining spots in Kemah, Bellville, and Flatonia.

Donald Trump should get this man a pardon or a stay of deportation, and give him $10,000 to spiff up his Trump burger joint.

Gotta disagree. No special carve-outs or favors.

If this guy does get special consideration, the next thing you know there’d be Trump-branded roofing companies, Trump-branded landscaping companies, etc.

(maybe)

Trump Burger or not, he bit off more than he could chew thinking he could play by his own rules.

Remember Pablo Escobar built soccer fields for all hia locals and contributed to many school programs and helped the poor and the youth of his areas doing good and for one thing doesn’t mean you’re a good person.

Trump-branded roofing companies, Trump-branded landscaping companies, etc.

That would be such a dystopia for the lefties, like Jimmy Stewart being shown Pottersville.

No. He overstayed his visa and illegally opened a business (on a non-immigrant visa).
