Well I guess the bear learned that you don't pilfer a pomeranian's breakfast.

In my area bears are hunted with dogs heavily.
It is not uncommon for small dogs to but the run on a bear.

It’s not the size of the dog in the fight, it’s the size of the fight in the dog.

I know it’s wrong but just once I would like to see the little yappy dog get chomped and swallowed.
To: DallasBiff
A yappy dog might run off a black bear. But in the case of a grizzly or cougar, the dog would be lunch.
We had a Pomeranian once that was literally untrainable. It would pee on our pillows or hike up its leg on guests. We gave the miserable little brat away. Every pet since then has been a lovable gem. NO MORE SMALL YAPPY DOGS!

My mom's Pekingese got through a fence and took on a cow one time. Barking his ass off! Cow just looked at him like, "Whatever."
I had to hop the fence, pick him up and toss him back over. That was funny.

The bear is lucky it wasn’t a chihuahua.

My Maine coon cat ran a german shepherd off of the property years ago.
She chased it all the way back to it’s own yard.
Fiercely territorial, she was…

Hilarious indeed...looks like a well developed part of a residential area. Definitely not a shack in the forest somewhere...
To: DallasBiff
her 6-pound Pomeranian I'm guessing a Pomeranian is a form of dog.

Obviously, if the bear wanted to kill the dog, it would have been done just as soon as he could catch it. But black bears don’t like small aggressive things that make loud noises and run at and around them really fast. They will retreat most times.
