No scamming here, I will take a minute to spoon feed you to.
Pull up HR 8620. Read what it says, more than once if you must…then get back with us.
While you're taking your minute to be snotty, you COULD take the extra 4 seconds of effort and copy-n-paste it yourself...
H.R.8620 - TRUMP Act of 2024
Official Title as Introduced
To amend the Federal Reserve Act to require the Secretary of the Treasury to print $500 Federal reserve notes featuring a portrait of the 45th President of the United States.
Stop printing 1 and 2 dollar bills. Use coins instead. They last a hundred times longer......................
I did some quick searching and I cannot find any mention of the 500 dollar bill even being rumored to begin printing again.
the Euro is currently worth more than the dollar and they have in circulation both 200 and 500 euro bills.
> They are just preparing us for when the US dollar hits Argentina levels of devaluation… <
You might be right. The United States will not default on its sovereign debt. So the only way out is allowing hyperinflation.
Hmm… there is a third alternative: Confiscation of wealth to pay down the debt. I suppose we could see that under a communist President like AOC. Unlikely, though.
Yes. Eventually. Duh. Mathematically impossible to NOT get there after a few thousand years or so. Why? Do you WANT zero growth in wealth or population or productivity for centuries on end?
I’m sure counterfeiting nation states will love this.
Image trying to tender a $500 bill, most places pitch a fit over a $100 bill...seems to be a fool’s errand.
This is stupid. The government want to move us AWAY from cash
I actually like keeping the penny in circulation for that very reason. People need a reminder of how bad inflation is.
Some years ago, I got a VERY substantial discount from a small repair shop for paying in cash.
This is stupid. The government want to move us AWAY from cash
I would assume the main concern with a $500 or $1,000 would be counterfeiting.
I don’t see the need. I rarely use $100 bills.
I run the ArmstrongEconomics scam site.
The worth of my advice can be measured by my three bankruptcies and losing over $700,000,000 of my clients' funds in bad trades.
That failed ponzi scheme got me eleven years in the federal pen.
