It’s a good point he raises, but I think it’s all overblown. Recess appointments aren’t what a lot of people think they are. They only last through the end of the current session of Congress, which means someone appointed today would only serve for less than 18 months.

You aren’t going to get top caliber people to accept roles in Washington under these conditions.

But, even with that, Alberta’s Child, it is another example of the ridiculous ‘rules’ under which these a$$clowns posture, preen, and parade for the cameras (not even their own constituents).
This BS ranks right up there with the whole blue card crap.

The pubbies prove, yet again, they are ill fit to govern.

Article 2 section 3 their behinds back to work then. If they like their “formalities” their can keep their formalities. The Executive branch has a few Trump cards too.

“...top caliber people to accept roles in Washington...”

If these people were “top caliber” in the first place this country wouldn’t be in the mess we’re in.

“Recess appointments aren’t what a lot of people think they are. They only last through the end of the current session of Congress”

But they can be on the job and get approval before the time runs out.

Overblown?

The leadership of the Republicans in majority of both houses of Congress obviously do not consider such abuse of power “overblown.”

They are deliberately blocking the ability of President Trump to accomplish what he pledged to do and what got him elected.

This is the act of stabbing President Trump in the back. They won’t quickly confirm his choices and won’t stand aside to allow him to do what he has every right to do.

The President should do everything in his power to get voters to throw these traitors, in his own party, out of office.
