A Florida man who illegally juggled secret marriages to three unsuspecting women he met on dating apps managed to escape jail time after his deception was unearthed.
Henry Betsey Jr., 50, was sentenced to two years’ probation on Thursday after he pleaded “no contest” to felony bigamy in May, ABC Action News reported.
Along with his sentence of two years’ probation, Judge Charles B. Merritt Jr. ordered Betsey to perform 100 hours of community service, to complete a mental health evaluation, and to stay off social media and dating websites.

In all seriousness, besides this one article. Judging from conversations I've had with young black adults in my majority black church, particularly when I every now and then lead a financial small group (and the topic of long term planning comes up). The #1 issue seems to be that black men look at black women as single mom material -- black men simply haven't been around a lot of long-term married black women. While black women look at black men as dead beat dad material. Even if they get to know the other person as truly living a godly life, they can't get past the the surface (reading the book by the cover) knowing that a lot of blacks claim to be Christian and go to church regularly, but outside church live worldly lives (even more than whites tend to do).
60+% of black kids (call it 2/3rds) grow up with just one of his parents. They all want better for their future. A lot of them think the odds of a sustainable marriage is with someone of another race besides the one that loudly promotes "acting black". Of course, I'm talking about Christian leaning single blacks, not blacks looking for a trophy woman or such (a black man showing off his white chick like he's moved up, while she shows off his black man showing she's into diversity).
