She had a history of vertigo, but apparently they needed woman pilots. In the cockpit recording, she said she felt dizzy. The instructor did not take the controls, maybe because she was a woman and/or she outranked him.

to have a flying license.

Some states can take your drivers license away from you if your Vertigo is bad enough. Needless to say someone w/ Vertigo shouldn’t be anywhere near the cockpit of a plane.

Using the Cockpit Voice Recorder transcript is the usual practice. Any Voice recording you hear is from Air Traffic Control.

Wonder if she had those ear crystal issues and needed to regularly do the Epley maneuver.

It appears that decisions using “woke” thinking led to her flying and crashing, killing several dozen innocents. I wonder if all those killed (and their surviving friends and family) realize that?

There’s no real conspiracy behind that. They stopped releasing the actual tapes about 20 years ago.

I would think that with a history of vertigo, it would prevent her from even flying.

I have a close friend who was a navy pilot till he left the service to pursue a degree in pharmacology. I once asked him why he never considered becoming an airline pilot and he said such a career was only as good as his next physical.

They stopped releasing the cockpit tapes after the pilots of a passenger jet were chatting about politics, a flight attendant, etc. while they were supposed to be concentrating on landing. The tape got played on TV, etc. and was embarrassing.
