The cascadian fault isnt as cyclical as people think.
Volcanic explosive indexes are not as predictable as people think.
They’ll do what they do and there isnt anything anyone can do about it other than prepare.

True. The quake was Jan 1700. And 105 years later, Lewis and Clark reported their surprise that no Indians of any tribes were living on the NW coast. (They were all killed by the tsunami. )

I disagree. The Cascadia Subduction Fault does go off very regularly with an 8.3 or larger earthquake.
