Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko arrived in Saint Petersburg on Friday, where he is expected to meet with his Russian colleague Vladimir Putin later today, as per Tass, citing a Telegram channel close to the Belarusian presidency's press service.
The two leaders are expected to have an informal discussion about bilateral relations between their two nations and the security situation in the region, which presumably includes the ongoing conflict in Ukraine.

This meeting will be one discussed for a long time. No doubt once Russia reaches the gates of Kiev, their forces will begin to arrive to the battle field in a similar fashion to NATO forces. Whatever country is closed to the delivery point will be used.
I believe that before Russian forces from Belarus enter Ukrkaine, Chinese forces will have already set up positoins on the Belarusian Eastern Border to warn NATO. This will too the monment the West realizes that they have driven China and Russia together and the American dream of a war int he Pacific may begin.
Lukashenko is 70 and comparison to photos at a younger age shows substantial weight gain, but it does not appear entirely to be midsection. His gym regimen likely has some weight lifting.
In contrast, Putin does not appear to have gained much weight at all compared to younger year photos.
