So much for eating at Mom and Pops places...I’ll stick with McDonald’s - they have FAR MORE to lose if they cheat, so they don’t.
the smell of wheat paste would make me vomit so i had to hang out in the library during art class
I loved that chit too
Dinty moore stew was great now its low grade dog food
Guy is getting hammered on IG.
This is probably some kid raising steer on his daddy's land and playing rancher and posting for clout. Hormone and antibiotic-free is hard to do and very expensive. Add in cost of feed, processing, etc. and there's not much profit margin at 100 head/year.
maybe he has done some butchering
and knows his cuts
i found it informative
I eat hotdogs so I can’t say chit.
“There is a product called moo gloo, used just for this purpose. It’s probably also used to make those deli counter meats like turkey breasts that are so large, they can’t possibly be one turkey breast, so they probably glue pieces together. Transglutaminase is the chemical name for moo gloo.”
Quite common although few restaurants of meat processors will admit that they use glue.
Sure he can be, if he raised all his roughage and grain and processes the beef, too. He never said he was a Big Time Operator. Maybe he doesn't have a million dollars invested in iron, or maybe he has hogs or cash crops, or whatever.
In any case, raising that many means he knows a heck of a lot about the subject.
Bingo- they did the same thing to the MRE Beef Stew, nicklefvckers decided nothing is too good for our boys. Hormel Chili, same thing. Some weird amalgamation of pork and beef, allegedly. I just buy Chili beans in sauce, and brown ground beef & onions. Ten times better at half the cost.
Blucher...
In grammar school, one of my classmates would eat the white paste used back in the 50's.
I remember the “$1.19 Steak House” and worked at the Ponderosa later on.
Its calked “ Mystery Meat”
Disparage the individual who made these claims as much as you want, but I’m going to my Kroger and they have what are called bacon wrapped filets which are perfectly round and are obviously glued together pieces of meat. And I expect all the grocery chain sell them. They are glued together crap and sold for a pittance.
A little Common Sense tells you based on the current price of beef that these cannot be sold for what they are sold unless they’re crap. Of course if you need proof buy one and cook it and then try eating it
Yes a hormone and antibiotic-free 12-1300 lb. steer will bring $4500 on the hoof.
LOL=
