US President Donald Trump is still interested in resolving the conflict in Ukraine and wants to see concrete actions to end it, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio said in an interview with the Fox News channel, APA reports.

“This is not his war, but he wants it to end“, the head of the foreign policy department said.

According to Rubio, Trump is frustrated that “his good interaction and phone calls with Vladimir Putin are not leading to anything“. “It is time to take action and the president has made it very clear. "He's losing patience," the secretary of state added.

Trump wants to bring peace to the world as his legacy. He has been working tirelessly at it. Trump wants to win a Noble Peace Prize, since Obama won one for just being black. A reasonably motivated white guy should be able to do that too, right? The problem, of course, is that Putin doesn’t want peace. Putin wants to conquer as much of East Bank of the Dnieper as he can before Russia experiences another revolution. So, Trump is slowly catching on t the fact that peace will only come to the region by arming Ukraine to the teeth. Then, there will be peace when Russia realizes it won’t be able to grind on any further.

Lots of weapons deliveries to Ukraine from the U.S. this past week. Lublin, Poland is the new logistics hub for the incoming transport flights.

The end will come with the collapse of the pitin regime predicated by collapse of Russian economy similar to the 90s.

China is the wild card as to how long this takes. My guess is China wants to bleed Russia for every man and gold bar it can, and then using pitin’s playbook take back the parts of eastern Russian federation Xi wants

dpetty121263: "Well Putin read Trump’s book..."

Naw... mad-Vlad the Invader has his own books and they were not written by the likes of Donald Trump.
Putin's books were written by Ivan the Terrible, Peter the Great and Stalin the Conqueror.
Vlad the Invader wants to be in their pantheon, so he cares nothing about whatever deals Trump might have in mind.

This is Putin's book, from Putin's Brain, Alexander Dugin:

Is the current Russian criteria for success in the invasion, not withdrawing no matter how many Russian soldiers killed and how much materials lost? No shortage of those in the West willing to oblige them.

I wonder how the Dugins celebrate the murder of their daughter (killed by car bomb in Moscow)? Must be sad.

“This is not his war, but he wants it to end“
************************************
Well then end it by not sending anymore military aid. But if he continues doing so well then it becomes his war regardless of what he says. Just because he didn’t start it doesn’t absolve him from its continuation. It’s the equivalent of him saying “it’s not my fault the Dems had open door immigration” but then do little or nothing about it. At some point if you let things stand as they are or in the case of Ukraine allow things to continue then eventually you have to take responsibility for your lack of action on this.

tennmountainman: "Then Ukies should be able to take back ALL territory Ruzzia now Controls"

By all accounts, US weapons deliveries to Ukraine in 2025 are a mere trickle compared to those in 2024.
Thankfully for Ukraine, Europeans have largely made up the difference by greatly increasing their own supplies to Ukraine.

In practical terms it means that Ukraine is no longer so much a US client state, and now must look to Paris & Brussels as its major patrons.

Sadly, neither Washington, nor Brussels, nor Paris, nor London, nor anyone else has ever had a plan for victory in Ukraine beyond just "keep on keeping on" "for as long as it takes".

That's what Pres. Trump is working to end, but it seems that mad-Vlad the Invader has very different ideas.

President Trump and Secretary Rubio just said Putin is the impediment to peace. Pay attention.

For pitin, and his 3+ year, 3 day invasion, I don’t see how anything less than occupation of all annexed territories by Russian law is acceptable.

Anything short and he is gone. IMO he has no chance of attaining that.

Revolution in Russia is nothing new…
