I never liked Trane. I tried, I really did because he was considered great by so many but nope l just didn’t. He seemed to have absolutely no grasp of the less is more concept.

I love John Coltrane's music during the 50's and early to mid 60's. One of my favorites is My Favorite Things from 1961. I like the idea he went with a soprano sax after being known for using tenor for well over a decade. Can't go wrong with Giant Steps as well.

Now I listen to KUVO, a Jazz station out of Denver.
