Only about 20% of your total cholesterol comes from diet the rest is manufactured by your liver. Eggs are one of the most nutritional foods we can have, eat lots of them along with bacon and live a long and healthy life.

I'll forward that to the game warden. ;-D
My wife threw my poaching cups away. That was weird.

There’s a rumor that Lyndon Johnson or his administration started the notion that eggs were bad for you because the price of eggs was going up and people were complaining about it.

Good! I just sent 3 dozen up the Bear Camp. The guys love them. Going down to the barn in a few to do chores and to see what goodies the hens left for us, today. :)

I was told by a doctor many years ago prior to 2010 to drink 1% skim milk and cut out eggs among other things. Skim milk taste bad. I felt tired and rundown so I started to eat 2 eggs and drink whole milk. I felt much better.
The problem was the coca cola I was drinking by the gallon every week. I cut that out and high fructose corn syrup which caused me to switch to The Rustic bread. Felt so much better.

One of our chickens was killed a couple weeks ago. Found in the back of our shed with its head missing.
At first we thought it was a cat, but neighbor said raccoons do that. Was skeptical at first.
Over the weekend I caught our 4th raccoon in two weeks in a cage trap borrowed from next door neighbor.
I take them out on the AFB Reservation, about 6 miles away, and let them go..................

Yep. That’s what those b@stard raccoons do. Why not just EAT the chicken if you’re going to kill it, ya monster?!?!
I will wear my (beautiful!) raccoon fur ear band this winter in your chicken’s memory...and to the memory of chickens I’ve also lost to raccoon through the years.
Right now, the current flock basically live in ‘Fort Knox’ inside the barn. Way too many predators around us, which include the random litter of pups on any given spring! ;)

Trash Pandas..................... WIKI: The original habitats of the raccoon are deciduous and mixed forests. Still, due to their adaptability, they have extended their range to mountainous areas, coastal marshes, and urban areas, where some homeowners consider them to be pests. As a result of escapes and deliberate introductions in the mid-20th century, raccoons are now also distributed across central Europe, the Caucasus, and Japan. In Europe, the raccoon has been included on the list of Invasive Alien Species of Union Concern since 2016.[4] This implies that this species cannot be imported, bred, transported, commercialized, or intentionally released into the environment in the whole of the European Union.[5]

The EU needs to apply their, 'raccoon strategy' to certain other mammals. Can't believe they actually got something RIGHT for a change! ;)
A friend gave Beau a Japanese/Asian Raccoon Dog pelt. Tanuki. It is stunningly gorgeous with very thick fur and a thick undercoat as they live in the mountains of Japan.

"The tanuki is a wild canid species native to Japan that is related to wolves, foxes, and domestic dogs. It's also known as the Japanese raccoon dog (Nyctereutes procyonoides viverrinus) and is a subspecies of the raccoon dog (Nyctereutes procyonoides) that's found in mainland Asia.
With its thick fur, masked face, and curious nature, the tanuki has served as a cultural icon in Japanese folklore for centuries. The bushy-tailed animal is known as a mischievous trickster that's shown up in legends and myths as a shapeshifter with supernatural abilities. In popular culture, tanuki can be spotted in Nintendo video games and Studio Ghibli films."
