Hope he has fun in prison.
Reminds me of the country music song:
“If you go fishing, I’m leaving you.”
“God, I’ll miss her. I think I got a bite!”

Man, this guy likes to fish !
I seriously doubt that this was his first rodeo. Why did that woman stay with him for three years. She is very fortunate she wasn’t killed. Perhaps she learned something. Experience says different, but there is hope.
I LIKE THIS WOMAN!
She has spirit and determination. She needs to get some self esteem and not date psychos thinking that's all she deserves.
I wish 30 years with no parole on this guy and she gets every marital assett because he won't be around to do sht.
FLORIDA MAN!
Strange magnitude of violence towards someone who’s not even a threat.
Probably not the first time he’s turned on her.
What was he thinking? What was he drinking?
Next time, use your words and say “ I want a divorce!” Don’t act like a Caveman.
She can fix him.
that’s an awful “joke” dude.
Not this movie, I guess
He needs to get remarried. To a hulking cellmate named Bubba.
Wonder what part alcohol played in this story.
I’m amazed she survived! I’ll bet he is, too.
Thank goodness he didn’t get away with it.
Using the anchor would’ve been easiér
Why not just kill her hunanely and take her body somewhere at least a few hundred depth
Bag or chain and weight her and have your story straight
Killing your wife have a heart man
Harold Ensley – The Sportsman’s Friend. Gone fishin’ instead of just a wishin’. I guess he wanted to do more than just fish.
A little digging, and this story gets weirder and weirder...
The article below says the man filed for divorce in June, but the wife hadn’t been served, yet. It quotes him as saying she wants his $1 million home. So, did he really turn psycho over a fishing line, or did he plan first-degree murder?
OTOH, a witness testified that the man asked him to take the woman back to shore. So, if he was planning murder, why did he ask another boater to take her to shore?
The article also says the woman herself was in trouble with the police last year.

As a side note, an online booking photo listed the man as 6’6” tall.
