"If a battle cannot be won, do not fight it."

Owens has nothing to gain and a lot to lose. If Brigitte can prove she is a woman who has an atypical body type, Owens is done.
Making accusations is easy, backing them up in court under oath and cross examination is much harder.
Now she has to fight this fight and risk losing what is left of her credibility.

Sigh.

No. Owens is NOT done no matter what proof of being a natural female Macron brings.

In a defamation suit, you also have to prove malice/the intent to lie.

Which is unfortunately easy to wiggle out of unless evidence can be brought to prove it.

Mrs. Macron is built pretty much like any other French woman is.

I’m not a fan of Owens or the Macrons. But I wonder how winnable this case is for the Macrons. Many years ago, in a college course on media law, we learned that public figures, such as politicians and celebrities, have difficulty winning slander cases because (1) they must prove the “journalist” knew she was lying, and (2) they (supposedly) have greater access to the media to refute the lies than we regular people do. I guess we’ll see what happens in this case.
