Drama queens. They wanted it to sound worse than it is. Typical narcissist behavior. Manipulating people’s emotions. If they were being canceled they’d’ve spent the whole show squealing like the pigs they are.

They DO go on hiatus every summer.

I have never watched this show. But if they do something every summer…and then they come back, why would we think this year is different?

If they had plans to cancel The View it’s unlikely they’d say as much now. Such would hand another win to Trump, create an uproar from the left, blaming Trump but also attacking ABC as cowards.

I hope they take the summer ‘hiatus’ to evaluate it and then announce it’s cancelled in August, by which time viewers will be viewing elsewhere, the citizenry will be busy getting back to school.

They apparently have viewers, low overhead, but how profitable is anyone’s guess with not one, not two but 5 co-hosts, some who may be making multi-millions. Add the increased chances of legal costs in an environment of ‘Trump beats media.’
