Saw him live many times. My favorite is "Hill Where The Lord Hides" from Friends and Love. Prayers up for his family.

People were saying Hulk was the third of the three who would go. Chuck is #4, so that blows that theory.
Love his Alive album, came out the year I graduated high school. He was letting the instrument tell the story instead of showing off. RIP friend.

I remember his “Give It All You’ve Got,” the theme of the 1980 Winter Olympics in Lake Placid, New York.

He should have friends in heaven.
That’s from King Of The Hill where Bobby thinks he will have no friends either.
Chuck’s cameo for Mega Lo Mart makes me want to shop there despite Bill singing the song in the ad.

I was a big drum and bugle corps guy, and we listened to his music obsessively in the mid-late Seventies.
Thank you, Chuck. RIP.

I was a fan of Chuck's music in college (1974). As a trumpet player, I really admired his skill with the fluegelhorn. Just prior to my cancer diagnosis, I purchased a fluegelhorn and the sheet music for "Feels so Good". I hope my lungs can still handle playing it after prolonged pneumonia. Chuck's work was always an inspiration.
