It isn’t just the Chinese. There is an ancient Roman (Catholic) proverb that “It is easier to ask forgiveness than to ask permission.”
I say that as a Catholic Theologian, and caution people that to recall that something is said about the easy path in the Sermon on the Mount. Those speaking the proverb generally are either universalists or have confidence in purgatory, perhaps too much confidence.

The honest farmer character is one born primarily of American mythology and its reality is disappearing faster than family farms.
Youve heard that integrity is doing the right thing even when nobody is watching. In rural areas there is hardly anyone ever watching, that doesnt mean that evidence of wrongdoing evaporates with the morning dew. Familiarizing oneself with present day dairy factories is enlightening.
Dishonest methods used by modern agribusiness is just another technology stolen and duplicated by the Chinese.
I live under sheriffs (which I prefer over city cops) now and I am starting to wonder what they do, they are friendly and they drive around a lot and look like they are watching everything, but nothing gets done, nothing changes.
It seems like a lot of these places could be detected if there were people driving around all the time and writing down unusual patterns and activities which one assumes deputies do, and of course they have all the computer access to everything, even to ownership and records of who is driving the cars and trucks making the unusual patterns and of course sheriffs have all the property and occupation records.
Since my teens I have often thought that local law enforcement does a little bit, but very, very little of what they could be doing if they really focused on their work and the bad guys instead of spending their entire careers on just showing up and doing their shift with the routine minutia that they so theatrically do for their 30 years.
You really want law enforcement officers to NOT WORK. People(the low lifes) need to be afraid of breaking the law. That way the cops are more likely to be there when you really need them. The last thing they need in their entire shift is to be totally busy dealing with the worst people have to offer.
Being lazy workers doing what passes as showing up, isn’t enough, I want them to do their jobs and be more effective.

That is what they do already, what do you think they are doing as they drive down your street and through your tiny community several times a day and stop by the side of the street as they watch the houses where the squatters live and do their admin stuff, or when sheriff’s code enforcement gives someone notice about something about their yard, such as too many weeds, or child services shows up because they know the squatters don’t have water service, or when they already know which license plates have been moving in and out of a community, or have not been there at all, or when the sheriffs know who owns which dogs and which ones routinely get out and are becoming a threat, even which ones run together.
They are doing something, but the drug houses stay there year after year, the squatters keep the houses, the neighbors and their wives start wearing guns all the time, but nothing changes.

I read your deranged rant. You seem to have a beef with your local law enforcement. Did you ever complain to your local governmnt or call in tips about all this nefarious activity you claim your LE is ignoring?
