I see card only businesses more and more often. I’m a crusty, old hold out. If a place is card only, I’ll go somewhere else, as long as that’s possible.

I support this. I like being able to hand over two 1 dollar bills for a $1.69 crispy chicken sandwich at Wendy’s, instead of using a debit card for such a tiny amount.

Certain businesses prefer the convenience of credit cards and not all payment systems are equipped to accept cash.

I've found that lately alot of businesses post a credit card additional fee of 3% preferring cash.

Just say that not accepting cash is racist because Black people don’t have credit cards. It worked for voting.

One reason why some refuse cash is handling cash is an opportunity for employees to steal.

Refusing to accept cash is not merely a business decision but a step toward a totalitarian digital monetary system.

And every time you use a Credit Card you are putting money in the pockets of one of the three companies that run the world government.

People think that they are free in this country and the West. But are they?

These 3 companies control 88% of the largest corporations in America

If a company is investor owned. One of these three companies probably has one or more people on their board.

When governments don’t like your speech, they regularly freeze your electronic accounts, leaving you no way to buy food. See Canada, here,”:

Most of the hotels I go to are “cash free”. It doesn’t bother me in a practical sense. It irritates me when I see the signs.

Nothing wrong with allowing people to use cash when they want.

(Although i tried to take $30k in cash to buy a truck once. The dealership wanted no part of it. And that was in 2012.)

I went to a concert last year and was going to get some chips and a drink before the show. I brought cash and was told “card only”.

GOOD!!!

Sometimes I use cash cause I’m sick and tired of my every purchase being monitored.

The bill makes exceptions for businesses that have “a sale system failure” or those that do not have enough cash available to provide change.

Mental image of corporate scum scrambling to deprive their outlets of enough change to support cash purchases.

We went to Great Falls National Park recently, the US National Park Service, and it does not accept cash.

We know some small businesses that have gone to cash or cash/check only because their margins are so bad they can’t afford the transaction fees the credit card companies are charging anymore.

And even the ones that still do take plastic love it that we pay cash.

I don’t know of any biz in my Upstate NY neck of the woods that had gone cashless.

And if any should, we won’t darken their doors.

If this legislation is really needed, I doubt it’s because of small biz.

Many young people these days can’t even make change... Think about that then think about how much we spend on education.

"Things are starting to turn…."

For those not aware of my site, one can get daily reports from my legendary Socrates computer for only $150 a month.

These is the same legendary AI program that I developed over 40 years ago and is still the most sophisticated in the world. A marvel since it is DOS based ang can run on a 360k IBM desktop!

The program is infamous and since using it I have had only three bankruptcies and lost only about $700,000,000 of my clients' funds.
