It’s the fixation of Washington. Now Democrats from coast to coast are plotting how to capitalize on the Jeffrey Epstein saga.
An ongoing furor around the government’s investigation of the disgraced financier has done more than fracture President Donald Trump’s base. It has also injected a volatile new element into midterm elections and created an opening for Democrats scrambling to exploit any perceived Republican weakness as they work to retake the House.
Once largely confined to the Beltway and to the more conspiratorial corners of the internet, the Epstein affair has already shown surprising staying power by tapping into pervasive distrust of those in power. Democrats are hoping it will help them portray the Republicans controlling Washington as corrupt and insulated from consequences.

If Letitia James could get the executives from Deutsche Bank to testify during President Trump's sham mortgage fraud trial in front of Judge Engoron, one would think that the federal government could get Deutsche Bank executives to provide information about Epstein's transactions, too.

The “Epstein files” have been examined by the Trump Admin for 6 months.
Bondi planning to “sit down for an interview with Ghislaine” seems like a futile process —

They are doing what they do. Smoke, fog, obfuscate, and lie about a topic with few details about anything solid in their reporting.
DJT keeps using the same political jujitsu. I’m amazed that they keep falling for it. Democrats are too predictable. Everything is opposite of what trump said. Trump opposes release of documents so they demand it. If Trump releases a fake video, democrats produce a REAL video of them setting the precedent to arrest an ex president. Trump arrests criminal aliens, democrats go try to get them released to the streets. It’s contrarianism and it’s easily manipulated. Someone at the whitehouse is ‘thinking’, and they’re manipulating the thoughtless democrat mob and the democrats can’t control themselves.

Trump and the DOJ have requested the release of grand jury testimony in Epsteins’s case. Does that mean anything at all to you pearl clutchers with your supernatural analytical abilities?

Did you know that Trump and the DOJ are trying to get the judge to release the grand jury testimony that ended up sending Epstein to prison? How does that constitute ignoring?

The Republican speaker truncated the legislative schedule for the week ahead of a summer recess, moving to deny Democrats the chance to force votes on whether to release the Epstein material.
We are never going to know the truth about anything to do with Epstein. We should just go ahead and wrap our minds around that. Something about it has something in it that is just too damaging to release. And who knows what it is? I even heard a rumor that Epstein was trying to recruit scientists that worked with UFO technology to try and blackmail them. Of course that’s not true but they’re definitely hiding something big. Or someone big.
There’s enough dumb repubs to help the Dems out on this topic....

Understood, but Tulsi and Kristi are on Fox News all the time as well. Which I don’t mind, because it gets information out that we may not know. Unlike Tulsi, Bondi has to make a rock solid case, which we hope is happening behind the scenes. Whatever she’s doing, Trump is apparently on board with. I’m not a 100% sold, but I’ll give her up to a year in. The swamp is deep and wide for sure.
