UK is implementing enormous new taxes on foreign property owners. It’s been in headlines recently. That’s my guess as to why... or part of it.

The UK just passed a law to tax rich people on all assets worldwide. Many are leaving the UK. I suspect this is the reason she may be selling.

The elite rich are packing and leaving the UK, not buying mansions. Plus the natives are restless and the odds of a UK civil war are better than 50%.
