A video showing federal agents walking through an Inland Empire grocery store Monday morning prompted a call for answers by community advocates.
The video shared by the Inland Coalition for Immigrant Justice (ICIJ) showed agents exiting an “employees only” area at the Stater Bros. location on West Hold Boulevard in Ontario.
The incident prompted ICIJ Executive Director Javier Hernandez to ask why the agents were allowed into the store and expressed concerns over the Ontario Police Department’s role in the operation.
Stater Bros. issued a statement Monday afternoon regarding the incident.
“Unannounced, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents informed the Store Manager at our Ontario Stater Bros. Market that they were conducting surveillance on an individual at a nearby donut shop located within the same shopping plaza. According to the agents, the individual entered our store, prompting them to follow him inside,” the statement reads.

What’s the issue?
Is the moron writing this article suggesting that federal agents need permission to go anywhere at any time? Feds do their thing, don’t interfere.

Federal Agents follow an illegal migrant into a Southern California grocery store:
The man picks up some bananas, a can of soup, and a loaf of bread. He then walks up to the cash register to pay.
The Federal Agents intervene, inspect at the items he has, and say:
“We can tell you’re single.”
He smiles nervously and responds: “How do you know that?”
They respond: “Because you’re really ugly.”
Two ICE agents and an illegal walk into a grocery store....

This sounds like a sideways threat to boycott Stater Bros since ICIJ has no standing, legally, anywhere on the issue, other than whine about it.
Officers surveilling a donut shop? Unheard of.
I believe a more apt word is urinalism.
