The thug should have pulled over. “I didn’t know, bro” isn’t an excuse.
Now his insurance just doubled until he is 18. He deserved that kind of extreme hardship I’m sure.
One of my Daughters first pull over was because she accidentally left her turn signal on for a bit after changing lanes. The Deputy let her go with a verbal warning. But it scared her so bad to this day she ALWAYS double checks her signals. Just that verbal warning will stay with her for life. A ticket and insurance issues were not needed for her to earn her lesson. This borderlines on sadism here.
I’m sick of civil servants acting like royalty.
That video makes me want to punch that cop. Nice community outreach. Way to “partner with the community” like cops are always saying. Cops like this one live for the opportunities to push vulnerable people around.
Cops have it bad enough without needing to chase down teens who can’t follow directions.
Thug? Did you even watch the video? The kid obviously thought the cop was directing traffic.
Then after he needlessly cuffs the poor kid and puts him in the squad car, he goes back and bullies the girlfriend who is crying her eyes out.
That cop is a first rate asshole.
Every profession has them, some more than others. They need to be rooted out.
He should be forced to wear a full body condom on the clock.
Did you watch it? The girl was his sister.
I have had police officers point to have me change lanes many times.
Problem is, more and more of this is happening. DEI cops or power tripping cops. Same thing sort of happened to me but the cop was only looking for a date since he’s seen me several times heading to the airport in my uniform.
The kid had his turn signals on, and it appeared the cop was telling him to go ahead and complete his turn.
BS!
He cuffed him before he even asked for id.....the cop is a tyrant...and no it’s not clear what idiot cop was doing...
Fine, she was his sister - 100% Irrelevant.
That cop should be fired for poor judgement.
True
Couple points
Looks to me like the officer is directing him to an open lane
He kept going
officer pulled d ick move by pulling him out of vehicle with no predicate.
The girl is his sister
Cop was an A-hole to his mother and should have shown empathy as a the so called parent of similar aged kids(must be tough at home)
1. The kid was just that a kid - inexperienced and not wrong in his actions
2. The cop was over the top angry and not courteous. Cops “Protect and Serve” and when he saw that he was dealing with ordinary kids - not druggies, not mouthy punks - he should have recalibrated.
3. The cop never told them what he originally pulled the over for - they sure as hell weren’t speeding and the cop already had a car stopped in front of him.
Cops have a responsibility to control themselves with the public.
