The House will not vote on a resolution calling for the release of some documents related to Jeffrey Epstein before the August recess, Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.) announced on Monday, despite growing GOP outcry over the Trump administration’s handling of the case.
The news came after the House Rules Committee advanced the measure last week, and as the lower chamber prepares to break for the weeks-long August recess on Thursday.
Asked if the House will vote on the resolution before leaving Washington, Johnson told reporters: “No.”
The Speaker said he wants to leave time for the administration to act on the matter before moving ahead with congressional action....

Epstein was released from jail - after an alleged sweet heart deal - in 2009, when Obama was President.
Obama had 8 years to release everything.
Congress sure takes long breaks after months of not doing anything.
Every Deep State on the planet let Epstein do what he did for over decade.

Law doesn’t work like you wanna be lynch mobbers in Conservative Inc thinks it does. Being on a list is not a crime. You have to build cases against each and everyone on the list and prove, beyond a reasonable doubt, that they are guilty of crimes.
As we saw in the Diddy case, rich people buy their way out of prison with high priced legal teams.
So Conservating Inc worked itself up into hysterics about something that is going to be completely meaningless in the end.
