I worked withe a dude who used to keep an inert grenade on his desk... Or that’s what he said... Who knows?
Maybe the only thing that saved us all was his retirement.

Article lead in: Law enforcement source says deputies cut a grenade in half as part of a training exercise after they X-rayed it and thought it was inert.

Rule #2: The grenade could be perfectly safe under a variety of circumstances, and it’s best not to worry too much about these things.
