A drowning at his age. Wonder what the circumstances were
WOW this is a shock..he was an amazing actor RIP to his family
Thanks for the memories, Malcom, Rest in Peace...............
He was one of the best. Playing opposite of Bill Cosby must have been hard.
Was he at Obamas house?
Wow...too young. I don’t recall him being very “public” with his personal life. Seemed like a humble guy.
He was very good in the short lived “Jeremiah” series.
According to his Wikipedia page he intentionally did not disclose the names of his wife and child to protect their privacy
Update : Warner drowned off the coast of Costa Rica on Sunday, Costa Rican National Police told ABC News. Warner’s official cause of death was asphyxia, police said.

You’ve got to watchout for those riptides... If you swim right, or swim left you’ll be good... Swim towards shore and you’ll never get there.
Very sad.
Unless the water is really cold or really rough, or heart attack, or stroke, or injury are involved, it is not hard to survive a strong current.
Dog paddle, head above water, float with it.
When the current slows - and it always slows - swim back to shore.
There might be locations where an out going tide pulls you a couple hundred yards off shore.
That would be frightening, but not fatal.
Bottom Line - the #1 killer in strong currents is PANIC.
That’s very sad. He was good.
I always liked this guy.
So sad
Actually, Malcolm died in Costa Rica.
However, if I was to have a heart attack or something while out there, I guess that would be the end of me.
I've been in riptides before. Just swim perpendicular to the shore and you will come out of it. People who panic and swim for shore are the ones that die.
Do they pull you under or just pull you away from the shore?
Once you realize it, the solution is to "go with the flow" and work your out of the current by swimming parallel to the shore.
Most people panic and try to swim against the current and fatigue gets them. It doesn't pull you under, but it's powerful and sometimes fast.
Very sad to hear of Malcolm's passing. My heart goes out to his family.
They pull you away... Under-toe’s take you under and they generally exist in rivers... Vortexes of water just under the surface that drag you down and if you panic you typically won’t survive.
