Michael Tochfeld, The moment I couldn't tell the difference between "Haaretz" and anti-Semites. Makor Rishon. Apr 16, 2017.
I was never in a hurry to cancel my subscription to "a newspaper for thinking people." I survived Rogel Alpher, Carolina Landsman, and even Yossi Klein. But when I realized that I didn't know which 'Joseph' I was reading - Klein or Joseph Goebbels, the penny dropped... Rogel Alpher: "The foolish[sic] belief in God, in Divine providence is poisoning[sic] this country to death".
Kippa News. 13/04/23. 22 Nissan 5783.
Haaretz journalists attacks Rabbi Lau: "His worldview is complete nonsense" Haaretz journalist Rogel Alpher published a column in which he attacked Rabbi Yisrael Meir Lau: "We don't need his short-cut wisdom of life, which is summed up in a tone full of pathos and self-importance, and in hollow clichés" | Publisher Amos Schocken supports: "The column deserves publication and it is necessary to publish such a text."
"Rabbi Lau's values outrage every atheist. The nullification before him completely erases the secular identity in the country and stems from despicable feelings of inferiority of a supposedly enlightened media system, which does not respect the principles of liberalism," Alpher wrote.
Yet, per pro atheism Haaretz own admission: "most Israeli Jews believe in God." That very atheism-promoter Alpher, on Feb 26, 2025 rant: "'Israeli Atheist' Is Nothing Short of an Oxymoron."

Yet, some cite Haaretz even on FR..
Leftism is a suicide cult. Jewish leftism doubly so.
Keeping it in perspective -- It's like citing The New York Times.
It depends on how it is cited.
Atheists have nothing about which to be outraged.
Depends on the environment.

Haaretzism is as twisted as one can ever be.
Haaretz attacks on Ovadia Yosef stir controversy - Gary Willig, Oct 5, 2016.
Shas chairman blasts left-wing newspaper over 'disgraceful' portrayal of late rabbinic leader. [...] The Haaretz writer the broadened his attack, targeting the religious community at large and dismissing the entire pursuit of religious studies as "eccentric" since, in Alpher's view, "there is no (sic) God."
