Vaginal births and a lack of administered antibiotics were found preventative of auto-immune disorders. It could also be that supplementing with Bifidobacteria, which some kefirs and yogurts have, could also help. I believe there are probiotic formulas for young children available, too.

Yep. C-sections and infant formula are the main culprits.

I think kids are kept too clean too. Hand sanitizers, wipes on everything, no roughhousing in the grass, no playing in mud, no pets, sterilized environments. They never have a chance to build up an immune system.

Maybe this isn’t true, but I read it several years ago. I’ve never had kids, so am definitely not an expert.

I read that babies born naturally are healthier than babies via c-sections. The reason is that there’s something “down there” where the mother’s poop has been. And during birth that gives the baby some kind of immunity or something.

Apologies if not true or too gross.

The question is whether it would work for adults.

When I was a kid with those problems, NOBODY was talking about the gut or probiotics.

Missing beneficial bacteria in infant guts linked to rising asthma and allergy cases

I always buy only top-quality infant guts, loaded with the "right" kind of bacteria.

A little vinegar and pepper and - Voilà!
