“”” the players came out onto the court wearing black t-shirts that said “Pay Us What You Owe Us.” “””
Ok. Here’s a buck and a half. Now go fix me a sammich.
Aren’t there enough feminists to go watch the games?
They don’t bring in the money that the men do. Why should they benefit from the men’s income.
Caitlan Clark is the reason for SOME small interest. of course, she gets treated like a car crash dummy. I hope she jumps the league and goes to Europe and kisses the WNBA goodbye while trashing them on the way out. But she won’t do that.
I’m sure the parking lots at the games are filled with Subarus.
“Litany of reasons” must be the court Nickname of Caitlin Clark.
If they’ve lost $40 million a year for 29 years, who’s taking the loss?
Well, it's not sustainable because CC is constantly injured. So at this rate, she'll be forced to retire.
NBA
So the NBA has been financing the WNBA all these years? News to me
50% owner
I’d rather watch beach volleyball.
If the WNBA wants more money…
…why don’t they divorce the NBA so they can get half of everything they own? 🤪
CC should focus on improving her defense.
A league of lesbian women with no menstrual cycles dependent on money men from another league, and which nobody watches ... Scotty, beam me up....This is hopeless.
I agree with the players. The owners should pay them what they are worth. Unfortunately for the players, there are minimum wage laws in this country which makes paying them what they are worth illegal.
I can't picture that without hearing it in Eddie Murphy's mail-order bride voice, "I want half, Eddie."
LOL
CC is one of the leaders in steals and blocks this year. Was up there in 2024 also.
Stick to the Warriors lane. Looks like they can’t deal Kuminga just yet, BTW
They’re more than welcome to try out for the NBA which pays higher salaries.
