When I’ve used Stevia it just tasted bitter to me.
An alternative might be Health Garden Monk Fruit with Allulose (available on Amazon).
Ah, jeez...
you’d think a simple turkey sandwich would be well within the ‘good for you’ guidelines.
nope. it’s one of the worst.
i’d swear there’s nothing left to eat that isn’t trying to kill us.
maybe outsourcing our food production to a country hell-bent on destroying us wasn’t a good plan...
Truvia, Swerve, and Lakanto and some types of Splenda for baking.
I also grow summer vegetables and fruits.
Chicken a couple of times a week.
When I was still working I would prep a whole week of lunches...salads, left over meats, etc.
Eating out and eating prepared foods from the so-called grocers will most definitely kill you.
Quick, easy and deadly.
I don’t trust modern bread.
Turkey with a side veggie and salad, now that’s great!
Yep. Deadly and relatively expensive.
LOL: that’s one of my rotating tag-lines.
I stick with good ol’ saccharine that has withstood several attacks from the FDA over the years only to be determined safe for use after each investigation.
Many believe that the sugar industry pulled the FDA’s strings on these matters. I find it hypocritical and ironic that they’re currently good with super-fattening high fructose corn syrup and now denounce sugar itself.
But hey - President Trump’s tying to get Coca-Cola to go back to their sugared version. Yay!
It’s naturally occurring in fruit and fermented foods but in small amounts.
how do you know that is true?
Is there a nutritional label for folks:?
Actually, what you’re saying is true. Let me rephrase my question. Eryhritol is in many foods and drinks that has Stevia. It’s used as a filler agent. My question is how do you know if it’s in the Stevia I never see it as a listed additive.
Good idea
Yes, and they put this agent in it as a filler. How do you know if it is in the Stevia?
bkmk
I recommend spitting ‘em out rather than attempting to digest them.
“Well, I heard from a scientist who worked at the company that manufactures Splenda that it causes brain tumors very quickly.”
Really? Then why hasn’t this scientist gone to Congress or the FDA?
I have seem it listed as am ingedient on most stevia products that are just stevia. If it’s another product with stevia as an ingredient and the stevia has erythotol in it it won’t list it. The only stevia product I have found that doesn’t list the erythotol (sp?) is from Trader Joes.
Haribo Gummi Bears are the answer to all the "stuck poop" commercials on YouTube.
