The billionaire heiress of In-N-Out Burger said she is leaving California due to her ongoing issues with the Golden State as the company plans to branch out.
Lynsi Snyder, 43, revealed this week the company plans to move eastward and she is relocating her family to Tennessee after a slew of battles with left-wing policies of Governor Gavin Newsom.
'There’s a lot of great things about California, but raising a family is not easy here. Doing business is not easy here,' Snyder said on Allie Beth Stuckey's 'Relatable' podcast.

The equivalent to In n Out here is called “Checkers”. Using the same business model it’s wildly popular.
Checkers and Rally’s are owned by the same company, and Rally’s USED to be in So Cal when I was there in the late 80’s/early 90’s.
Five Guys is WAY too expensive.

Loved the Knoxville area when my wife and I vacationed in Tennessee. Admiral Farragut was born in a little town near Knoxville and we visited the museum. There was a regular exhibition on why eastern Tennessee mostly supported the Union.
There was also a temporary exhibition on black soldiers in the confederacy. Not just cooks and teamsters as is commonly believed north of the Mason-Dixon line, but actual soldiers in C.S.A. uniform.
There was even a television series based on it called Bass Reeves, U.S. Marshal. In the opening episode, he was asked why he was fighting for the Confederates rather than the Union and his terse reply was "I'd rather get shot in the face than in the back."

Yep. They are building a huge complex just 6 miles from me.
In front of the property they have already started on the first TN restaurant.
Boy, the lines will be long.

And no state income tax. I dont think 9.75% is too high. It’s lower on food.

No it’s not. This county is solid conservative. 67% vote rate for Republicans.

A lot of companies have left California going back to the early 2,000’s. A lot of small businesses. But the media ignores it while cheerleading for the marxists that run that state.

“Just because it’s world famous in California doesn’t guarantee it will be successful all over the country.”
I didn’t take it to mean she’s necessarily opening restaurants in TN. I think it means Headquarters will be based in TN instead of CA.

For a very long time CA has kicked around the idea of an “Exodus Tax”. I don’t think it ever happened, though. We left before they could do that.

You're saying Franklin, TN, is liberal? Cause, that's also my impression.
Or, are you talking about someplace else?
