The billionaire heiress of In-N-Out Burger said she is leaving California due to her ongoing issues with the Golden State as the company plans to branch out.
Lynsi Snyder, 43, revealed this week the company plans to move eastward and she is relocating her family to Tennessee after a slew of battles with left-wing policies of Governor Gavin Newsom.
'There’s a lot of great things about California, but raising a family is not easy here. Doing business is not easy here,' Snyder said on Allie Beth Stuckey's 'Relatable' podcast.

Add a warehouse somewhere between Nashville and Knoxville and the whole game changes. She will see that once Tennessee and Kentucky explode with business. The only chain here which matches them for quality is Five Guys and it is pricey.

No, it’s Franklin Tennessee which is beautiful. Stunning in fact. I haven there a couple of times. Just beautiful. She knew where to go.

I think they tried too. Not sure. Good question though and something to think about because those Democrats in California are vindictive. They may think of a way to punish her.
IF I was her.....I’d continue to expand because being so concentrated in California is dangerous. Newsome and those Democrats can destroy you. Vindictive and I wouldn’t trust em one bit.

Believe it or not, it cost me more to register my Yamaha MT 07 Motorcycle that cost me $6000 in California then our newly bought BMW X3 M40i in Texas. And by a lot!
The California premium , the cost to live there for nice weather, beaches and mountains and celebrities......may be worth it some. No way to us. We fled in 09.

You got that right. The one close to me is always empty. I keep expecting it to close.
The equivalent to In n Out here is called “Checkers”. Using the same business model it’s wildly popular.
Make sure you don’t have to fuel up in Memphis but Nashville has a great bypass. Sure it’s longer but it’s way easier and faster than dealing with Nashville traffic.

I’d put their eastern warehouse in Crossville, Tennessee. Not far from Franklin and petty much the midpoint between Nashville, Knoxville and Chattanooga, the three main metro areas of Tennessee outside the dump called Memphis.

Just curious. Why did you choose Tennessee? I don’t know much about that state and I’d like to know what the draw is.

They are Christian and have good burgers for a good price. It’s one of the few things I miss about California.

Yeah.....I did buy a small condo in Old town Orange just to have a place to keep out there for short vacations, a motorcycle, etc. But as the homeless grew, crime grew, trash grew, graffiti......sold it a couple of years and severed all connection with California. Plus I want no ownership of anything in California that can be taxed as a non resident. They are vindictive out there.....nasty
Only knock is that sales taxes are high and they tax EVERYTHING. I suppose this is how they manage ultralow property taxes.

We moved from Southern California to North Dallas in 09. But we have been to Nashville and Franklin TN and we loved it. So green, so beautiful, hilly, stunning, history the cumberland River, and the nicest most hospitable people you will ever meet. We would live there if we didn’t live here.
And we have had 2 friends, separate families both move to Franklin from Southern Cal in the past 2 years. They love it too. The south has history and beauty and people who love this country. Every state has it’s bad cities, we know that. But Franklin is just beautiful, the country roads, so green and the mansions....for what it’s worth.

Yeah, I’m not sure they can transport the meat without freezing it from North Texas to Tennessee. I think it’s close to 700 miles They are probably building the processing plant as we speak. I’d definitely start relying less on California and expand to business friendly states in the South. California Democrats are going to punish her. They are a nasty vindictive bunch there. As all liberal run governments are.

For some reason, it always fascinated me. Hubby and I visited eastern TN in 2007 and decided it would be a good place to retire. If you didn’t know where you were, it’s a clone to the area in rural western NY where my family is from. (More “rednecks” there than in TN. More Confederate flags there. More patriotism.)
In a way, Obama did us a favor by forcing us out of CA where DH worked for a defense contractor. Obama wasn’t big on defense, so the probability of layoffs was looming. So Hubby was hired at a national lab here and we made the move.
My sister and her husband relocated here from FL. My brother and his wife moved here from IN. Cousins are coming this way. Trying to talk my brother in western NY to come, too.
We did do some research on City-Data.com, too. One chart showed very little “diversity”.
Posters on City-data commented on the friendliness of the people. One guy said they had set up a video camera on a tripod in an intersection of a subdivision they liked. They expected cops to show up and shoo them away. No cops, but several people came. They brought cookies, invited them to church, etc.
Anyhow, we really like it.
